Just recently, I made fun of my friend, Cynde, for buying 5 dozen eggs at one time. I mean, who does that?! Well, we do. Turns out that with four kiddos, 5 dozen eggs really doesn't last that long. Who knew? (Well, besides Cynde...)

A few years back, we had 13 chickens - a baker's dozen - and had so many eggs, we were giving them away. We don't eat many eggs.
I loved my chickens. Too bad we can't have any at the new house. :^(
